Pinecrest Public School

Pinecrest Public School is a public elementary school in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Pinecrest was the subject of a CBC Television documentary, The Pinecrest Diaries.[1][2]

Principal Charles Austin was named one of Canada's Outstanding Principals by The Learning Partnership in 2006.[3]

Pincrest was part of another CBC Television Documentary called, Run Run Revolution this production followed 10 students, Bruce Hubbard, the Principal and coaches invited to the school to train for the children's portion of the Boston Marathon. This documentary is a reflection of where the Pinecrest community is now. It is a celebration of the strength of character and resiliency of our children and our community. Shot almost entirely on the school grounds and in the school, it is full of light and change.
